Sikh ANZAC War Memorial, Glenwood
Sikh ANZAC War Memorial is the first memorial in the southern hemisphere that is dedicated to the memory of the Sikh soldiers that laid their lives in the world wars, at Saragarhi, and most importantly at Gallipoli and many other theaters of wars across the world.
Serving the imperial forces, Sikhs alongside many other soldiers that were recruited from South Asia, joined their British, European and ANZAC counterparts.
The memorial at Glenwwod is situated at the Glenwood Lake Park, The memorial commemorates the sacrifices made by the brave Sikh soldiers and highlights the sahred history between the ANZACS and Sikhs at Gallipoli.
